ProFormance Racing brings true NASCAR stock car racing expertise under the leadership of Roy Gangdal, most recently from the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, with the Roger Penske and Chip Ganassi Racing Cup Teams. Roy has worked with a diverse group of drivers and has enjoyed success in the racing industry including NASCAR Sprint Cup wins, Bud Pole awards, a Trans Am championship and multiple SCCA National titles.
Roy’s NASCAR career began with Penske Racing, specializing in shock and chassis engineering for the #12 car driven by Ryan Newman. Roy contributed to the success of other Penske teams including drivers, Rusty Wallace, Travis Kvapil and Kurt Busch. Roy then joined Ganassi Racing and the #42 team driven by Juan Pablo Montoya. Roy continued to share his expertise with other Ganassi teams including drivers, Reed Sorenson, David Stremme, and Dario Franchitti.

Cathy McCause
Marketing Director
After nearly 20 years in technology marketing, most recently at vice president of global marketing for one of the world’s largest software providers, Cathy McCause followed her lifelong passion for racing and embarked on a career in motorsports. Beginning with securing a pink & purple race car and becoming a dirt track driver, Cathy also founded a luxury motorsports apparel and accessories company, RaceyDiva.com; serves on the board of directors for Bristol Motor Speedway’s fan advisory board; consults as marketing advisor to Motorstats.com; and oversees marketing initiatives at the historic Altamont Raceway Park – the San Francisco Bay Area’s only NASCAR short-track. Now as ProFormance Racing’s marketing director, Cathy has come to appreciate the nuances of asphalt racing (as well as turning left and right) and is eager to share this experience with her former Fortune 500 corporate colleagues!
